Privacy policy

WrapTheDay (“we”, “us”) provides a daily-close and profit tracking service for small businesses at wraptheday.app and in our mobile apps. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture from your Google account.
• Business records you enter: store details, daily sales totals, expenses, cash counts, notes, fixed costs and team invitations.
• Basic technical data: sign-in times and error logs needed to keep the service working and secure.
• Anonymous usage counts: a random code for your device and which steps were used (for example “setup step 2” or “day closed”), with the page, language and country. These contain no names, emails, store names or money amounts, and help us see where the app is hard to use. They are not collected if your browser sends “Do Not Track”.
• Feedback you send: the smiley you pick and any note you write, linked to your account so we can follow up.
• Phone notifications: if you switch on the closing-time notification, the technical address your browser gives us for sending it. Switch it off in Settings to delete it.

How we use it

Only to provide WrapTheDay to you: to sign you in, store and calculate your records, show reports, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Google user data

When you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive only your email address, name and profile picture, and use them only to create and sign in to your WrapTheDay account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who can see your records

Each store's records are visible only to the people its owner invites. Our hosting providers (Supabase for the database and sign-in, Vercel for the website) process data on our behalf. Data is encrypted in transit.

Your choices

You can download all your data at any time from Settings → Backup. To delete your account and all its data, email us from your account's address and we will delete it within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app.
